Last week 82 year 10 pupils successfully completed their Silver Duke of Edinburgh Qualifying Expedition. It was a hot three days in the New Forest, and to mitigate against this we had the groups up very early in the mornings so that they could walk in the coolest part of the day, taking breaks in shaded areas, and relaxing back at camp in the heat of the afternoons. All pupils were (of course) fantastic company, with the external assessors particularly commenting on their politeness, team spirit, and resilience. I am so proud of them all!
