Safeguarding

Safeguarding is taken very seriously at TWGGS as we want all pupils and staff to be as safe as possible in and out of school.

We are a community and all those directly connected (staff, governors, volunteers, parents, families and pupils) have an essential role to play in making it safe and secure. All staff are trained regularly and kept up to date with current information. We encourage pupils and staff to report any safeguarding concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and/or deputies as quickly as possible, so that we can deal with concerns in the appropriate way. TWGGS recognises the importance of providing an ethos and environment within school that will help children to be safe and feel safe. Children are respected and encouraged to talk openly.
