Congratulations to Year 9 pupil, Mira, who has recently had the opportunity to race at Godstone and the prestigious Ascot Racecourse, as part of her equestrian team. 

 

Mira completed the Pony Racing Authority's Pony Racing Academy Course at Ghyll Park Equestrian Centre, attending weekly sessions as well as ensuring she participated in fitness practice in order to build body strength for flat racing. Her commitment led to her being selected for the final racing team.

 

Mira has been part of Ghyll Park Equestrian Riding School for almost two years; however, Mira actually began riding at the age of 3, when she and her family lived in Hungary. She returns there during the summer holidays to attend riding camps to continue to develop what has been described as her "strong connection and caring attitude towards horses". Well done on your achievements, Mira - we are very proud of you!
