Swimming success at Kent County Championships

For the past two weekends, four TWGGS pupils have been competing in the Kent County Swimming Championships 2025 at the London Aquatic centre for Monson Swimming Club.
 
Kent has the highest qualifying times in the UK for their county championships and to even qualify is a huge achievement. They all swam personal best times over the two weekends and showed huge determination and sportsmanship.
  • Safia Chaturvedi (Y7) qualified for 12 events and won a silver medal.
  • Miriam Fok (Y8) qualified for 4 events.
  • Elsie Saffer (Y8) qualified for 15 events and won a gold and two silver medals.
  • Bella Jones (Y10) entered 10 events and won 8 gold medals.
Bella has also been selected for The National Development Program that runs throughout the year preparing her for international competition!

We are very excited to see what the future holds for all our young athletes.
