We have had the following message from the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal in Tunbridge Wells. Thank you to all parents and pupils who donated:

 

"Thank you so much for taking part in this year's Poppy Appeal again. I just wanted to contact you before you broke up for the Christmas holiday period to make you aware of the totals raised between the schools in Tunbridge Wells this year.

 

I'm delighted to tell you that your school raised £320.61, the total raised across the schools being £7209.11. This amount is slightly down on last year but due to the majority of half-term holidays taking place at the start of the appeal. It also accounts for lots more school items being sold on our stands in the Royal Victoria Place & Sainsbury's, Linden Park.

 

A big thank you also to your fantastic cadet force who also attended Sainsbury's & collected on our behalf."
