"A few weeks ago, we went on the German exchange. It was an exciting, fun and different experience and we made new friends along the way. On the weekend, we were free to spend time with our exchange partners, getting to know each other better and experiencing German culture. During the weekdays, we spent a few lessons at the school (Clara-Fey Gymnasium) before spending the majority of the day with our class. Places we went to included: Cologne cathedral, Christmas markets, a glass blowing workshop, Aachen, Bonn, Bad Godesberg and Monschau. We visited multiple shops and museums, such as the Haribo and Lindt shops, and a chocolate museum. There were many opportunities to go off in groups and explore (lots of shopping!). We learnt a lot, laughed a lot and now have close friends hopefully to visit again in the future."
