We are delighted to report that Sixth Form pupil Layana has been awarded an Army Officer scholarship, as she has been recognised as "possessing exceptional leadership potential". The award comprises an Army bursary, if Layana chooses to study at a UK university, and a confirmed place to train as an Army Officer at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, following her studies.
Layana is a committed member of our CCF and, from the start of this term, took up the role of Regimental Sergeant Major, the most senior cadet in the contingent.
