Congratulations to Year 10 pupil Emily, who participated for the fourth time in the annual Hever Castle Triathlon.

 

This year was a particular challenge, as she was in the oldest age 15-16 category, despite not yet turning 15.

 

With fellow competitors, Emily swam 500m in the very cold lake, then transitioned alone straight into the cycle (8.4km) and finished with a run of 2.5km. 

 

The annual event welcomes participants from beginners to elite athletes, with a range of races to suit different abilities.
