On Sunday 17th September the TWGGS Ski Team took part in the ESSKIA English Schools' Ski Association race at Chatham Ski Centre competing against other schools from the South East.

 

The team course inspected, and then twice raced, the 20 gate slalom course which included a number of challenging slalom gate combinations.  All the training they have been doing at Bowles paid off with some good times being gained.  Lila A was second fastest female of the day, and first in her age category, with Bess M placing 6th. Ella Stevenson placing 8th in the same category, and Lorraine Deschamps-Smith achieved 5th place in her category.

 

Tabitha C, Abi D, Emily H, Emma C, Genevieve S, Bella F, Suzy M, Layla V, Tamara H , Alana K, and Betsy M all posted good times.
