Over the last two weeks, the Year 9 Food Technology pupils have taken part in the annual Winter Bake Off, showcasing their culinary skills and creativity! Students were tasked with designing and baking a showstopping treat that not only had to look incredible but also taste amazing. From intricate cakes to mouthwatering chocolate products, the variety of baked goods was impressive.
Throughout the competition, pupils demonstrated a keen understanding of ingredients, techniques, and presentation, all while working under the pressure of a timed challenge. It was impossible to judge this year but the stand out pieces were praised for their innovation and skilful execution.
