On Tuesday 17th September, TWGGS took a team to the Skinners' Cross Country Races where they competed against the likes of Walthamstow Hall, Benenden, Weald of Kent, Bennett and Tonbridge Grammar School. 

 

Junior girls were required to run a distance of 2.2km while the intermediate girls ran 2.8km. 

 

In the junior girls race, Aimee stormed ahead, not only winning 1st place, but also breaking the course record with a time of 8:41 minutes. TWGGS continued to come in with fantastic times; Tabitha (11th), Laura (16th), Sophia (19th), Sophie (20th), Victoria (22nd), Pritha (28th) and Prishti (31st). Overall, the team came 2nd!

 

In the intermediate race, Olivia performed very well, maintaining excellent pace around the course and coming in 20th.
