It has been another busy year for the Geography team at TWGGS, successfully organising field trips for Year 7 to Bluewater (Retail Geography), and Year 8 to Pett Level (Coastal fieldwork) on the south coast. The year 10’s enjoyed two days to cover content for their GCSE knowledge to Eastbourne/ Birling gap and Stratford in London. The Lower Sixth group experienced the highs and lows of the South Western weather in Devon to undertake the independent urban or coastal fieldwork to support their Non-examined assessments (NEA). We would like to thank everyone who helps to make these trips possible and we look forward to another year of fieldwork next year, hopefully with better weather!
