"I applied through the Fleet Air Arm Officers Association; it's a five day gliding course which I was awarded a scholarship for., and it will run from 14th July at the Midlands Gliding club. Gliding is a weather dependent activity, so if there's perfect weather I will have the opportunity to fly a two seater glider over the Shropshire hills. If this course goes well I will hopefully have the skills I need to go solo gliding in the future."
