Alathaea in Year 8 represented Paddock Wood Athletics Club (PWAC) and participated in the Sportshall Athletics Kent County Individual Championships at Stour Centre, Ashford on Sunday 14th January 2024. In a very competitive field, she claimed a winner's gold medal and title of U13 Girls Kent Champion in Speed Bounce, completing 82 bounces in 30 secs. In addition, over the whole 2024 Kent Sportshall Athletics Season, Alathaea’s U13 Girls PWAC Team secured overall team Bronze Medals.

 

Consequently, Alathaea was selected for, and represented, the U13 Girls Kent County Team at the Sportshall Athletics South East Regional Finals at The Triangle, Burgess Hill on Saturday 19th February 2024. The U13 Girls Kent County Team went on to claim gold medals and titles of 2024 South East Regional Champions,!an amazing achievement.  

 

The U13 Girls Kent County Team will go onto Stoke on the 6th April 2024 to represent the SE Region in the Sportshall Athletics U.K. National Finals.
