Pupils studying A Level Psychology and Sociology have all recently attended two very interesting conferences to enrich their studies:

"On November 13th a sociology conference was attended by the TWGGS' sociology sixth form pupils in the Emmanuel Centre, London. This enrichment day was to help improve understanding of the subject and to learn about interesting topics by sociologists themselves, including the much loved by everyone attending, Ann Oakley. There was opportunity for questions to be asked and conversations to be had with the esteemed speakers. 

"More recently, TWGGS Psychology pupils went up to London, to watch the Psychology In Action conference in the Emmanuel Centre. The conference was an exciting day for the Psychology pupils as the day consisted of inspirational stories, informative discussion and interactive sessions which gave us a real insight into the other branches of psychology which are not learnt in the curriculum. The conference also involved a session about exam success which gave us top tips and tools to help with our exams. "
