Lower Sixth Biology pupils have been taking part in their very own Bake Off over the last couple of weeks, producing these colourful (and delicious) cakes.
Pupils were tasked with producing their signature bake of the structure of a plasma membrane according to the fluid mosaic model. The fun activity has a serious element - in baking and decorating their cakes, pupils learn the components of a cell membrane in a memorable way.
The cakes were shared and enjoyed by staff and pupils.
