We are exceptionally proud of the achievements of all of our pupils following our A Level and GCSE results days.
We are so proud of everyone for the resilience they have shown in overcoming the challenges of the Covid pandemic – this is the first set of public exams sat by this cohort of pupils and both GCSE and A Level.
At A Level, of particular note is the increase in our A/A* pass rate compared to 2019, which now sits at 44.4%. There were some exceptional individual performances. Our Head Girl, Nellie Ash, achieved a stunning full sweep of four A* grades in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths: she will now be moving on to study Natural Sciences at Cambridge University. There were an additional six pupils who achieved an impressive three A* grades, and who will be studying a wide variety of degree courses including Medicine, Psychology, Geography, Economics, History, Management and Marketing, reflecting the breadth of success achieved by our pupils more generally.
Similarly, at GCSE there are so many superb performances to highlight. Twenty-three of our pupils achieved five or more Grade 9s, including Hannah Gaskin, Daisy Kelly, Amy Schipper, Erin Lawley and Esme Thomas who all achieved at least nine Grade 9s, and Ella Kelly who achieved a full sweep of eleven Grade 9s – a truly outstanding achievement. There are many individual successes within our results which are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our pupils and staff. The majority of our pupils will now be moving on to their A-level studies with us, and we are excited to be working with them again over the next two years and sharing in their future successes.
We would like to extend our thanks and congratulations to all pupils and staff for their dedication to the school community and their individual successes in achieving these results
