The weather was very kind to us this year for the Year 8 Geography field trip to Pett Level beach, between Hastings and Camber Sands, on 24th and 25th May.  The field trip is an important part of the annual curriculum to develop coastal fieldwork techniques, and apply these to a written fieldwork report. It is also a great way for pupils to develop life skills such as teamwork, organisational and communication skills.

Observing the groups working together and problem solving to complete the tasks in time is always very interesting!  It’s a team effort with the teaching staff involved in the trip, and the Geography department thanks go out to all those involved with supporting the field trip to the South coast.
