"On 5th June, Year 9 travelled to Condover Hall in Shropshire, to complete an action packed week full of thrilling activities. We started off each of our days with a filling breakfast, then on to our activities in our day groups. Each of these day groups varied in the number of pupils but each had a friendly and encouraging instructor. These activities used a variety of different skills, and ranged from a laser maze to kayaking, to high ropes and circus skills, so there was something for everyone to enjoy.
"At the end of every day, we had fun completing evening activities. These ranged from mini Olympics to a run-around quiz, (in which we learnt more about Condover Hall’s fascinating history). To keep us going throughout the day, there were a large range of meals to choose from in the Condover Canteen, where there was also a salad bar and a dessert station. To make the experience complete there was a gift shop on site, which many pupils bought goods from. Overall we all created many memories and met new friends; it was a thrilling residential trip we will not forget."
