This week, Mrs Julie Robinson, Trustee of the Ghana Education Project, has been visiting our Year 7 English classes, to deliver letters written by the pupils of our sister school, Kyabobo Girls' School in Nkwanta, Ghana. This is a long-held tradition at TWGGS, with the exchange of letters happening every year (with a pause during the pandemic).
Year 7 pupils are invited to write letters to individuals in Nkwanta, and Mrs Robinson delivers the letters when she visits the school. She then works with the Kyabobo pupils to draft their replies to TWGGS pupils. Kyabobo Girls' School greatly appreciates the charitable support of our school and the exchange of letters fosters understanding from both sides, giving both schools an insight into the lives and work of the other.
