The U13 Netball squad attended their County Netball tournament on Wednesday 31st January at Rainham School for Girls. The team successfully won the first group stage playing against Cranbrook School (4-2), St Dunstan’s College (6-1) and Bennett Memorial Diocesan School (3-3).
In the second group stage, TWGGS played against some tough opposition but still held their own. They played fantastically, using their knowledge to adapt play to their opponents: Sutton Valence School (3-0); Ashford Grammar School (7-3); Rainham School for Girls (8-1); Highworth Grammar School (9-4); Weald of Kent (4-4); Tonbridge Grammar School (2-4) and Sevenoaks School (1-7). Unfortunately they just missed out on a place in the final stage of the tournament; they should be extremely proud of their performance.
