These beautiful bookmarks are the winning designs from the Year 7 Bookmark Competition, run by the Library. In their introductory Library lessons last term, Year 7 pupils were invited to submit designs with the prize of the winners having their bookmarks professionally produced, to replenish the stock at the Librarians' desk.
The winners were presented with two of their bookmark design, a certificate and some chocolate in the Year 7 assembly this morning; in addition, every Year 7 pupil will receive a bookmark. The remainder will be available from the Librarians' desk when pupils pay the Library a visit.
