As part of our World Book Day celebrations on Friday 1st March, the library held a lunchtime book swap. Because of the generosity of pupils, parents and teachers, it was a resounding success. By break time, our enormous donations box was overflowing with dozens of pre-loved books. One pupil brought in an astonishing fifteen books to swap! As a result, there was a wonderful display of junior and senior fiction and non-fiction titles to choose from. The success of the event was driven by the pupils’ enthusiasm to enjoy new titles in a sustainable way. A big Book Swap thank you to all who donated and attended.
