'Tea Time Theatre' has become a firm favourite in our school calendar, with sessions featuring both the Junior and Senior Drama Clubs during the academic year. Audiences are treated to after school performances, at which they are also served tea and cake. Here, four members of the Senior Drama Club tell us about their performances of High School Musical, which took place last term.

On the 4th and 5th of December 2023 we performed our Senior Drama Club performance of “High School Musical.” Auditions took place just before October half term and then we did lunchtime and after school rehearsals during the winter half term. It was a great way to connect with old and new friends and work on our singing, acting and dancing skills.

The directors were really nice and helped us to produce an amazing production. In order to create our adaptation we took elements from both the film and the play, cutting it down and editing it into our own mini musical. During rehearsals we had lots of fun as well as rehearsing scenes, songs and dances.
