After winning 9 gold, 5 silver and 1 bronze medals for various events during the Summer and Autumn Beacon Swimming Club championships, Alice was presented with a shield plaque for her overall performance.
At the end of several weekends of racing, the fastest 6 swimmers were asked to compete in an exciting, knock-out event (known as ‘SKINS’). Despite being the youngest, up against 14 to 16 year olds, Alice survived until the third round! She also received a trophy for the best performer in her age group over the last year.
