In February we reported on the successful new acro-gymnastic partnership which our Year 8 pupil Lena is in. The duo's run of success continues with their recent participation at Flanders International Acro Cup 2023 in Belgium (6th – 9th April), where Lena and her partner won the Bronze medal in this very difficult and challenging competition, with Israel and Italy taking the Gold and Silver medals. Lena was very happy with this achievement and we are very proud of her!
More recently, the team has competed in the English Acro Championship and were awarded the silver medal. This was a great preparation for the British Acrobatic Championship in July, following which, if chosen, they will represent Great Britain at the European Competition at the end of July. We wish Lena and her partner all the best and look forward to hearing further news of their upcoming competitions.
